Amherst, NY (November 5, 2012) - ATTO Technology, Inc. announced today it will showcase its family of NetApp-based connectivity solutions at the NetApp Insight Americas show held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada November 5-8, and the EMEA 2012 show at the Convention Centre Dublin in Dublin, Ireland November 13-16. ATTO is highlighting their Celerity Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) that are certified with NetApp's FAS and E-Series storage systems, and their FibreBridge® Fibre Channel-to-SAS/SATA Bridges which ship with every NetApp MetroCluster-based system, improving uptime and reliability as well as monitoring and management in storage area networks (SANs).
"For 25 years, ATTO has been the leader in powering high-performance networks and storage," said Wayne Arvidson, vice president of marketing at ATTO Technology, Inc. "We are pleased that NetApp has recognized ATTO's unique performance capabilities and integrated our technology to support their big data initiatives as well as the needs of their mission critical customers."
Celerity Fibre Channel HBAs are built around ATTO's core Advanced Data Streaming (ADS™) Technology, which manages latency in real-time environments resulting in higher application performance, better transaction processing and the ability to handle larger workloads and client counts. They incorporate ATTO's MultiPath Director™, a proprietary technology that allows not just servers, but also high-performance Mac®, Windows® and Linux® workstations direct connection to NetApp enterprise storage and features.
FibreBridge® appliances are designed around ATTO's intelligent Bridging Architecture™, another proprietary technology that contains a data routing topology of advanced ASICs, firmware and interface technologies that enable users to configure ATTO bridges and controllers to work seamlessly with NetApp's DataOnTap operating system. They allow data transfers that keep the pipeline between a FC SAN and SAS/SATA storage smooth and reliable. FibreBridge®s also incorporate ATTO's Drive Map Director™, which reduces down time during drive maintenance by keeping the existing network topology available without having to re-map the LUN structure of the SAN.
NetApp Insight attendees can also learn more about ATTO's Accelerate™ Partner Program. It is designed to reward solution providers with support in collaborative areas including sales, marketing, training and more. The program provides a high level of engagement and tools to help businesses reach their objectives.
"We encourage everyone to stop by the ATTO booth and meet with our experts in Las Vegas and Dublin," added Arvidson. "These shows are a great opportunity for visitors to learn more about our solutions and programs to clearly see why leading storage technology providers, such as NetApp, consistently build solutions around ATTO's unique technology."
