City of Industry, CA (August 21, 2014) - AIC will be exhibiting at VMWorld 2014 US in San Francisco, CA between August 24th and 27th. Live demos highlighting high-availability and high-performance server and storage solutions utilizing the latest technology from industry leaders such as Avago, Open-E, Intel, ATTO and Toshiba will be featured. AIC's new high availability servers provide the highest return on investment, along with maximum reliability and performance. Critical enterprise systems such as those supporting e-commerce, decision making and data availability rely on high availability as an integral part of their core function.

At AIC's live demo, first-hand observations will help those who seek better performance and reliability from servers make informed decisions. The two solutions presented in these demonstrations are:

1. AIC's High-availability Server Solution HA401-CP2 and AIC's JBOD storage XJ3000-3163S.

Avago's Syncro CS cards are used in the HA401-CP2 to facilitate inter-chassis communication and to enable expansion of storage to XJ3000-3163S. Built on MegaRAID® technology, the Avago Syncro family uses two controller cards to allow system administrators to build a cost-effective high-availability shared DAS solution. Open-E's DSS V7 Syncro software was added to provide Fiber Channel and iSCSI features and transform the hardware to an appliance.

The HA401-CP2 is designed with the SBB (Storage Bridge Bay) standards in mind while using COTS components. The 3U 16Bay 6Gb/s hot-swap JBOD offers both high performance and scalability and can be substituted with any other model from AIC's JBOD series. The combination of both models supports a total of 40 3.5" drive bays to ensure sufficient storage capacity. These are perfect infrastructure components for OEM and System Integrators.

2. AIC's PCI-e SSD Server Solution SB122-TO and AIC's SAS 12Gb/s JBOD Storage J2024-01

View hybrid storage solution SB122-TO, 1U8Bay PCI-e SSD server solution harnessing MAX I/O™ and PCI-e SSD technologies. Delivering high performance and low latency, SB122-TO is the only 1U server solution that supports up to 8 PCI-e SSDs and 2 2.5" SSDs or hard drives. The J2024-01 JBOD running on SAS 12Gb/s technology and supporting 24 2.5" drives or SSDs provides ultra-bandwidth and serves as the best expansion unit to the SB122-TO. Also used are ATTO's 12Gb/s HBAs and Toshiba's 12Gb/s drives.

Static demos of HA201-WP & TB216-AA will also take place.
