Aug 11, 2008

Siggraph 2008, Los Angeles, CA (August 11, 2008) – ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of storage connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments, is featuring a live Fibre Channel multipathing demonstration at this year's Siggraph show on August 11-16. Located in booth 863, ATTO will demonstrate a proven, reliable high-performance storage connectivity solution targeted towards high-end digital editing where workflow productivity is critical and performance must be optimal.

ATTO's Celerity 4-Gb Fibre Channel Host Adapters will be featured in the demonstration on multipathing capabilities for Mac® OS X. This solution will show high-availability storage connectivity for Mac users, featuring path failover for continuous uptime and load balancing to aggregate performance across multiple ports. ATTO has developed a high-performance multipathing driver for Mac OS X that works with Celerity host adapters in multi-workstation, heterogeneous environments. Simple configuration, monitoring and management can be obtained by using the ATTO configuration tool.

“This year's Siggraph provides us with the opportunity to demonstrate how ATTO's multipathing solutions work in a multi-workstation Mac environment. We will also showcase how ATTO storage infrastructure solutions simplify and improve digital media workflow,” states Ed Tierney, director of marketing for ATTO Technology, Inc.

ATTO's complete product line will be exhibited, including:

  • 8-Gb PCIe 2.0, PCIe and PCI-X Fibre Channel Host Adapters
  • Ultra320 PCIe SCSI Host Adapters
