Update your hardware and software

Avoid data bottlenecks by making sure you are using the right ATTO ThunderLink and appropriate ATTO applications for your workflow. Every ThunderLink features ATTO Advanced Data Streaming (ADS)™ technology to reduce latency and maximize performance, but there are differences between Thunderbolt 2 and Thunderbolt 3, along with Ethernet, SAS and Fibre Channel that may affect how you get your work done. Using the latest technology and software helps to keep that competitive advantage, obtaining your goals faster.

Verify that the drivers for your ATTO ThunderLink are up to date

On our website under the support tab, there is a downloads option. This is where you can find the latest updates for your ATTO ThunderLink. We recommend you check once every six months to keep you ahead of the competition.

Driver updates can give you access to new features and enhancements, fix bugs and implement optimized code for improved performance. If you do not regularly back up your data, it’s a good idea to back it up before you install new drivers.
