Partner Spotlight: Global Distribution

Global Distribution is a specialist distributor and manufacturer of digital content creation, storage, management, archival and display solutions for both the media and enterprise industries. Global Distribution’s footprint is truly a global one, selling to over 70 countries through an extensive reseller network that covers North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and markets in the Asia-Pacific region (APAC).

Founded in 1995, the Global Distribution Group has its headquarters in the historic university city of Cambridge, England adjacent to the Cambridge Science Park. In 2015 Global opened local offices in Stockholm, Sweden and Munich, Germany to further service customers in the Nordic and DACH regions respectively. In 2017, Global opened offices in Culver City, California to service North America and Canada.

Their model is unique, offering a creative and personal approach to the distribution of technology to content-rich industries across the world. Each office includes demo, training, and meeting facilities allowing them to hold training and educational events in locations convenient to their customers.

ATTO and Global teamed together in 2002, with Global becoming ATTO’s distributor in the EMEA region. Global provides a complete ATTO inventory along with complementary products from our partners like Symply Inc., Quantum Corp., Tiger Technology, Infortrend and more.

Global and ATTO collaborate not only with product distribution but also on industry education and marketing efforts. At events and tradeshows worldwide, you will often find ATTO with Global in the same space, and Global is quick to share news and information from ATTO on their website and through social media.

Global Distribution has played a significant role in our success in Europe, assisting ATTO in growing our reseller network and helping to promote our products outside of our domestic markets. We’re looking forward to more growth and teamwork with Global in 2020 and beyond!
