Another story describes a solution for the popular animation studio Splash Entertainment, where Splash consolidated five different storage platforms by moving to a solution that combined Infortrend, ATTO Technology and Tiger Technology. Infortrend provided EonStor DS RAID storage systems and ATTO provided the 16Gb Fibre Channel connectivity.
Splash is an example of how ATTO and Infortrend work together to provide comprehensive storage solutions like Infortrend’s EonStor DS family which delivers advanced hardware designs and comprehensive data services at an affordable price point. ATTO Celerity™ 16Gb and 8Gb Fibre Channel host bus adapters provide low-latency,high-bandwidth connectivity for Linux®, Mac® and Windows® workstations and servers to EonStor DS Series storage.
As seen at NAB 2019, Infortrend showcased a high-bandwidth 2 x 25Gb iSCSI SAN solution along with EonStor GS Unified Storage and GSa AFAs (All-Flash Arrays). ATTO ThunderLink® Thunderbolt™ 3 to 25GbE adapters provided the connectivity from the EonStor to the workstation, resulting in an efficient and cost-effective 25GbE storage solution optimized for media industry workflows.
Infortrend will be among the featured companies in Global Distribution’s stand 7.A55 at IBC 2019 in Amsterdam.
