ATTO Extends Enterprise-Class Networking Capabilities to Windows Workstations

ATTO360 Networking brings NIC teaming, load balancing, failover and multiple VLAN support to Windows 10 and 11

Amherst, NY (September 8, 2026)ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader in high-performance storage connectivity, today announced Windows Teaming support in ATTO360 Networking, bringing enterprise-class networking capabilities traditionally associated with server operating systems to Windows® 10 and 11 workstations.

As workstations take on increasingly demanding roles in media production, AI, high-performance computing, shared storage and distributed compute environments, the networking requirements of desktop systems are evolving. ATTO360 Networking addresses that evolution by allowing users to create and manage NIC teams directly within Windows from a single interface.

“Workstations are no longer simply PCs. They are critical participants in high-performance infrastructure, and their networking capabilities need to evolve accordingly,” said Tim Klein, President & CEO, ATTO Technology. “ATTO has a long history of bringing enterprise-class capabilities to systems and markets where they can make a meaningful difference. Windows Teams support is another example of giving users the infrastructure capabilities their workflows demand.”

Enterprise-Class Networking for Windows

The Windows Teams feature of ATTO360 allows users to combine network interfaces into a team and manage the configuration through ATTO360 Networking.

Key capabilities include:

  • Windows 10 and 11 support – Create and manage NIC teams on Windows desktop operating systems.
  • Load balancing and failover – Configure network interfaces for increased bandwidth utilization and network-path redundancy.
  • Flexible team configurations – Support for static and LACP team modes, with settings that can be dynamically changed on existing teams.
  • Multiple VLAN support – Manage VLAN configurations alongside teamed network connections.
  • Centralized management – Configure and monitor teams through the ATTO360 Networking interface from a single pane of glass.
  • ATTO ExpertAI integration – Leverage ATTO360 Networking capabilities for alerts, diagnostics and network management.

By presenting multiple network interfaces as a logical network connection, the Windows Teams feature helps make redundant, high-bandwidth networking accessible to applications that may not be designed to manage multiple network interfaces independently.

The result is a Windows workstation capable of participating more reliably in demanding infrastructure environments where high bandwidth, redundancy and continuous network availability are critical. Applications include high-performance media workflows, AI systems, shared-storage environments, distributed compute and other data-intensive applications.
