ATTO Technology and OWC Partner to Deliver Optimized Connectivity for Jellyfish Shared Storage
ATTO connectivity enables the full Jellyfish experience on high-performance workstations and servers
Amherst, NY (September 12, 2026) – ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader in high-performance storage connectivity, and Other World Computing (OWC), a leading provider of technology solutions for creative professionals, today announced a development partnership bringing optimized ATTO connectivity to OWC Jellyfish shared storage environments.
Designed for demanding creative workflows, OWC Jellyfish provides high-performance shared storage for collaborative editing, color, VFX and other media applications. ATTO connectivity extends that performance to the workstations and servers accessing Jellyfish, providing a purpose-built connectivity layer engineered for the sustained, high-bandwidth demands of professional media production.
Extending Jellyfish Performance to Every Workstation
ATTO and OWC have worked together to optimize the connectivity between Jellyfish and client systems, addressing an often-overlooked part of the shared-storage workflow: the connection between storage and the systems accessing it.
ATTO FastFrame™ 25GbE and 100GbE network interface cards provide high-bandwidth connectivity for workstations and servers, while ATTO ThunderLink® Thunderbolt™ 5 adapters provide high-speed Ethernet connectivity for Mac® laptops, Mac Studio® and other Thunderbolt-equipped systems. ATTO solutions support Mac, Windows® and Linux environments, giving Jellyfish users connectivity options across mixed-platform production environments.
ATTO Advanced Data Streaming™ technology provides latency management and controlled acceleration designed for high-bandwidth applications and consistent data transfers. ATTO360™ Networking provides additional performance tuning, monitoring and diagnostics for ATTO Ethernet connectivity.
“OWC has created a compelling shared-storage platform for creative professionals, and our partnership brings ATTO’s connectivity expertise directly into that workflow,” said Tim Klein, CEO of ATTO Technology. “By optimizing the connection between Jellyfish and the systems using it, we can help customers get the full Jellyfish experience from their workstations and servers.”
Built for Collaborative Media Production
The partnership supports creative teams working with high-bandwidth media, including 4K, 8K and beyond. Jellyfish platforms support a range of network configurations, including 10GbE, 25GbE and 100GbE, depending on the system and workflow.
With OWC Jellyfish providing the shared-storage foundation and ATTO providing optimized connectivity to client systems, customers can build high-performance production environments around the requirements of their teams.
