Field Engineer

What you’ll do …

Join our team as a full-time, on-site Customer Field Engineer based in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls Area. As a Customer Field Engineer, you will serve as the frontline support for our OEM customers and partners. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, technical support, field service, and project management, all while representing the excellence of ATTO.

This role will require some travel to customer sites and industry tradeshows. You’ll also play a pivotal role within the Sales and Marketing team, participating in account strategy development, presenting technical roadmaps, and conducting technical demonstrations.

Responsibilities include:

  • A strong drive to quickly grasp new products and technologies.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Exceptional outgoing communication skills and a willingness to build lasting customer relationships.
  • Prior experience in field service.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • An understanding of storage and network technologies.
  • Experience with VMware, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with tape libraries and automation is a plus.
