Inside Sales Representative

Reports to: Sales Manager

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: High School diploma; college degree preferred.

Minimum Experience: 1 year of inside sales experience.

Must also have:

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Aptitude for technical products and how they fit into a “whole product solution”.

 

Primary Function: Support one or more Account Executives in the achievement of established revenue targets within an assigned geography or list of accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact various companies from provided lists and databases.
    • Qualification and generation of sales leads.
    • Provide information on new product introductions.
  • Contact decision makers in the areas of storage area networks and interconnectivity products.
  • Aids in the identification of incremental business opportunities through day to day interaction with VAR’s, System Integrators and end users.
  • Works with Account Executive in assigned territory to maintain and grow established sales revenue base.
  • Meeting minimal activity measurements and objectives as set forth by ATTO management.
  • Supports incremental business opportunities through follow-up, proactive problem solving and correct positioning of ATTO’s products and technologies.
  • Provides appropriate levels of customer service.
  • Updates internal contact management tools on a timely basis.
  • Follow through with Account Executive and document findings on all leads provided.
  • Participate in personal and peer training sessions as required.
  • Support product fulfillment, returns and evaluation needs of the customer as needed.
  • Use sales tools to track and communicate all activities and opportunities.
  • Escalate and assist in the internal management of product and technical issues as required.
  • Follow all department processes.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
